LawnSource grows Black Beauty Fescue, a turf-type tall fescue developed by Jonathan Green. This variety produces a dark green, dense lawn that handles Kansas heat, drought, and disease pressure without constant maintenance.

Black Beauty develops a deep root system that pulls moisture from lower soil layers. It tolerates sun and partial shade. It establishes fast when installed on time.

We grow our sod without netting. That means the roots make direct contact with your soil from day one. No plastic barrier between your new lawn and the ground it needs to grow into.
